Check the IP address your Huawei B612 device is obtaining for the SIM

  1. Make sure your modem or router is connected to your PC/laptop and open a browser.
  2. In your browser type in your routers IP address in the address bar to go to the management page. By default, Huawei is set to 192.168.8.1.
  3. Enter your device password and login to the device / router.
  4. Navigate to your Advanced menu.

  5. Navigate to your Systems menu on the left.


  6. Device information tab will automatically open and you will see your obtained IP for the SIM on your right hand side.You will now successfully see the IP address your Huawei device is obtaining for the SIM.
